Our Story
Back to year 1991, when the turbulence of the free market took place in ex Yugoslavia, Mr. Catleski Petar, one of the first graduates from the Faculty of Economics in Skopje, on 21st of February had founded a company 6 Maj.
At the very beginning ruled dilemma for determination of the activity of the firm. Driven by desire for adoption of innovations in Macedonia, Mr. Catleski made a choice to bring world known printing supplies producers to the Macedonian market.
Vevce, Slovenian label and flexo paper manufacturer, was first introduced. Tremendous support, which Mr. Catleski received from, now retired, managers Mr. Ivan Jamnishek and Mr Peter Selan, resulted in 6 Maj becoming a leader in suppl
ying of label and flexo paper on the market of the newly formed Republic of Macedonia.
Saso Catleski and Miodrag Daskalovic were employed after two years, bringing new ideas and “fresh blood” to the company. As a result, many other brands like Radece and Kolicevo from the paper industry, as well as Kodak, Varn, ECS, and Flint Group in the field of graphic preparation, took place in company’s portfolio.
